  1. Do you make your cheeses with animal rennet? Especially the cheese in your mac and cheese? Is it safe to eat them if I want to say away from any animal rennet?

    1. Most of our cheeses currently do not contain animal rennet, such as: Asiago, Parmesan, Mozzarella, Cheddar, Blue, and Goat. Our current Feta and Romano brands do contain animal enzymes. However, we make vendor substitutions and changes from time to time, and therefore don’t feel comfortable guaranteeing that certain cheeses will always be free of animal rennet in all of our restaurants. If this sub-ingredient is something you wish to avoid, we encourage you to try some of our recipes that do not contain cheese. There are many items on our menu for you to chose from.

  2. the tomato parmesan vegetable soup is not gluten friendly. there is pasta in it. the sign just says vegetarian. disappointed to spend $10 for chili.

    1. Hi Kim – it sounds like you may have seen our recent Tortellini Soup. We’re so sorry for the confusion. We try and post all of our upcoming Vegan, Vegetarian and gluten-friendly dishes here so you are able to plan your trip prior to your visit.

  3. I am a regular visitor at Sweet Tomatoes,Fremont CA.
Every time I visit there, I find that vegetarian dishes and soups are very less. For example, out of 8 soups, most of the time 2 are vegetarian. I had complaint this to the Manager also and he said he does not have any control over menu as it is decided by corporate directions. Fremont and around areas have lot of vegetarians and this disappointing . This is a true fact.

    1. Thank you for your feedback, Vivek. We rotate our featured dishes each month and try and meet the various tastes and dietary restrictions of all our guests, but sometimes are unable to please everyone. Hopefully, you will see more dishes you will enjoy next month.

    1. Hi Karina – So sorry, but we won’t be serving that soup this year 🙁 Stay tuned in case we share the recipe 😉

  4. Off topic as well, will you guys ever be bringing pineapple upside down cake? It was my family’s favorite. If not where can I find the recipe? 🙂
