Are any of your products organically grown? Or are any product offered organic?

Currently we do not offer any organically grown produce in our restaurants.

Our produce vendor, Freshpoint, has stringent programs in place that mirror the USDA/EPA and FDA guidelines focusing on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) which are the fundamental principles and programs out in the fields were the crops are grown and harvested.

There are very limited reports of health effects caused by pesticide exposure in humans. “The main reports are of acute overexposure from accidents. The types and amounts of pesticides used in the U.S. today are well monitored and have been tested for safety.”

That’s why experts encourage individuals to eat more fruits and vegetables – whether they are conventionally or organically raised – because they are all safe and nutritious.

Below is an infographic to represent just how much pesticide is used and how many servings of an individual product you can have in a single setting without any effects.

What do you use to clean your produce?

To ensure the safest food for our guests, we use an all natural fruit and veggie wash on all produce before prepping. This decreases the opportunity for bacterial growth and internal contamination of the fruits and vegetables when processing.

Our fruit and vegetable sanitizer contains the following ingredients: citric acid, naturally derived surfactants, grapefruit oil, and other natural ingredients.
