Join the Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes Holiday Family Photo

What’s your favorite holiday memory? Chances are, there’s a photo to go with it. Whether it’s your child’s shocked reaction to a mall Santa, an epic winter snowball fight or the whole family gathering for a feast; those moments—and those photos—are the ones that take us immediately back to a special family holiday. Since you are all a part of our Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes family, this year we want to create a big holiday family portrait for our holiday card where you are included! So, send us those fun family photos and we’ll email our completed holiday card to all of our friends and family during the holiday season.

To have your family photo featured on Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes’ holiday card, submit it one of the following ways:

  • Tweet your photo to us using @Souplantation & tag it with #SPholidaycard or #STholidaycard
  • Post your photo on our Facebook wall & include #SPholidaycard or #STholidaycard in the description
  • Instagram your photo, tag @Souplantation and include #SPholidaycard or #STholidaycard

  1. Hello,

You are asking people for their photographs that you will use in promotions and advertising. How much will you pay them for the commercial use of their images?

If you hired models or actors to be in your advertising you would pay them would you not? Then you should also pay the people whose photos you select the same as you would models.

There is no way you should pay nothing.

    1. Hi Terry, we are not using anyone’s photos as a promotion but, if they would like, they can submit them to be included in our holiday card – alongside photos of our employees – all of our Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes family. No one has to submit their photo, it is just a fun activity where we can all come together to celebrate the season.

      1. Dear Admin,
        I agree..This is a fun activity. =o)
However, I just saw the link for a photo…is it too late to attach a photo ?…..I would like to get in on this if possible. Please email your response to:
        kbesmil@yahoo.com

        Thanks!

  2. Your special coupon for a veteran for this coming weekend did not come up today when I clicked on it. Maybe someone in your office hasn’t made it available to us yet? Check that out, please, and thank you. (All I got was the usual weekly coupon offer.)

    1. Hi Nancy – You don’t need a coupon for our Veterans Day promotion. All active and past military members with some sort of identification or in uniform will receive the deal.

  3. A veteran is one who has served in the US Armed Forces and Honorably discharged. They do not necessarily have an ID card like one who is active or retired but they do have a DD 214 which is a form stating their service, grade and decorations. You might want to state that a DD 214 is acceptable also.

    1. Hi Reggie – Any Veteran can come in and state that they have served and will receive the deal – we will not turn away anyone indicating that they are past or present military for this deal.

    1. Hi Pamela – We will send our holiday card sometime next month so recommend getting your photo in before the end of November.

  4. I spent years wondering if my Dad who was in Korea & Vietnam, would ever make it back home to us. He is now 85 & I believe he deserves a FREE meal, so we’ll be going to Golden Corral to honor Him. Thanks, but no thanks.

  5. Going to try to post a photo on your wall. It is of our family at Christmas and includes our mixed-heritage family. My daughters-n-love, as I call them have the following backgrounds: One born and raised in Japan, one born here but parents born and raised in Egypt and one born in Mexico and raised here from an early age. In addition, my oldest son by marriage was born and raised until the age of 12 in Guatemala and is of Guatemalan-Honduran descent. The rest of us have a mixture of Native American, English, German, Dutch, Irish, Scotch, French (Canadian) in us.

  6. Maybe I’m reading this wrong but it IS a FREE meal for the Vet as someone in their.dining party has to pay for their own….as in Buy One Get One Free..so it’s FREE for the verteran. …..We have been loyal Souplantation customers for years and I think it’s nice that vyou are doing this Sat-Monday as my boyfriend.served years in the Air Force and is now a civilian andnhas to work (on a militarly base on a Navy helicopter no less) on Monday so this is one of the few I’ve seen who are honoring the wbole weekend. I don’t really know why people are beimg.so snippy and hostile. I say good job Souplantation we will be there on Sunday! Thanks!

  8. If it were not for you having better and healthier food I also, like Beck, would go to Golden Corral for a FREE meal. I served, my father before me and my son is in his 20th year and a half off meal is somewhat insulting. Why not give a free meal. Also, do you give FREE meals to foster children? I take in foster children on a regular basis and some chains give FREE meals to fosters. It would be a really nice thing for you all to do. Thanks much.

    1. Thank you for the suggestion, Gloria. We hope that with a BOGO deal, you are able to join your father for a meal with us. 🙂

  9. Hi! Just wondering would you please considering putting a Sweet Tomatoes in Las Cruces, NM? There is no “healthy” or salad bar type place down here. You have to go almost an hour to El Paso to get Souper Salad place and by no means is that as wonderful as you are. We had you up in Chicago when I lived there and now I have to drive 3 hours to Albuquerque to have your great fare again. We are getting more and more well-known restaurants and we are a college town with two military bases with less than an hour from us. Thanks and have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with your families. :+)

    1. Hi Deb, thank you so much for your suggestion. We don’t currently have any expansion plans in that area but love to know where we are wanted next.

  10. For club Veg members, we should have a card that gives us a break on lunch every week, without having to clip coupons.

  12. I just wanted to say that this seems like a fun activity, hopefully I’ll make it to Souplantation this weekend and get my picture in.

    1. Hi Liz – Our locations aren’t accepting the photos so be sure to use one of the methods listed above (and your photo doesn’t have to take place in a Souplantation – although we would like that!).
