  2. My favorite Thanksgiving dessert is sweet potato pie with candied walnuts or pecans on top, served with whipped cream on top and vanilla ice cream on the side. Happy Thanksgiving and I pray I won because I love this restaurant!! 🙂

  5. Believe it or not, my favorite Thanksgiving dessert is from my husband’s sister’s husband’s (got that?) family: cranberry and apple cobbler! I won’t be with them this year, so I’m sure hoping to get to try Sweet Tomatoes!

  6. Simple Pumpkin Pie Cake
I found a new favorite (for me) a few years ago, and have since found several different versions of it online and otherwise. It is Pumpkin Pie Cake, it is simply a dish made by combining Pumpkin Pie filling (canned turned out better moisture wise), and Yellow Cake Mix, (just the simple mixes nothing fancy), and butter. The Pumpkin filling is placed on top of the cake mix and 1/3 of the cake mix crumbled on top (cake mix mixed with butter) and then baked. the result is a wonderful, rich dish that is neither a cake nor a pie, the :”crust” is a moistened cakelike wonderfullness, and the crumble on top delish, and the filling has a texture that is ??? well fabulous.

  7. My favorite dessert on Thanksgiving is my mom’s homemade cinnamon rolls. Every time we are invited somewhere when my mom asks what she can bring, they always say cinnamon rolls. I live in Florida now and my mom lives in Iowa, so the last time she was down here she showed me how to make them. Unfortunately the cinnamon roll gene must skip a generation, because mine were not nearly as delicious as hers. Next time she comes to visit I will have her teach my two daughters!! We hope to win because we love Sweet Tomatoes.

  8. Your chocolate chip cookies are my favorite of your desserts. We always buy a bag to take home and sometimes that helps a charity which makes us feel less guilty about eating them instead of more salad!

  9. My favorite Thanksgiving dessert is warm Deep Dish Walnut Crumb Apple Pie and sweet potato pie with candied pecans on top. Hmmm~~ I love all your food and I go there every week. ^^

  10. This year, once again, I’m looking forward to tasting our fresh, homemade Apple Pie. We’ve started the tradition in our family to make our Thanksgiving Apple Pie together as a family, involving our sons of 7 and 9. Our 7 year-old has become quite the chef and enjoys cooking and helping with all kinds of meals in the kitchen. Our 9 year old will most likely help me with peeling the apples this year 🙂

  11. My favorite Thanksgiving dessert is Ritz Cracker Pie (sometimes called Mock Apple Pie) my Mema used to make this pie and I have always loved it…I have not had it in many years and had been unable to locate a recipe for it after she died, just last week my Aunt found a copy of Mema’s recipe and sent it to me…I am going to make it for my family. I can’t wait!!

  13. My favorite Thanksgiving dessert was my grandmother’s chocolate cream pie. There was something about the creamy delicious chocolate, the flaky crust and the sweet, fluffy whipped cream that made me sneak into the kitchen & sneak an extra piece! This year, I finally get to return the favor & cook for her!

  14. Without a doubt, my favorite Thanksgiving dessert is southern pecan pie! Not the more-syrup-than-nuts kind, but the kind with just enough syrup to hold the pecans together…. with a big scoop of vanilla bean ice cream!

  19. My favorite holiday/Thanksgiving dessert would have to be all kinds of pies! I love having a little slice of everything. And My favorite Souplantation dessert is always the soft serve. I love getting swirl with a little more vanilla and then adding cookie crumbles and hot caramel all over! YUM!

  20. BOSTON CREME PIE.. my favorite Thanksgiving dessert by far.. second would be cinnamon pull apart bread. When ever I go to Souplantation I always get a “soup” sized bowl and fill it sky high with soft serve, my favorite dessert there!

  21. I think your best dessert is the ice cream bar. Everyone loves ice cream and the kids particularly love putting on the toppings and sauces. Honestly, everything is good. One thing that I love for a Thanksgiving dessert is pumpkin pie, but this recipe calls for cream cheese in the ingredients. It is the best pumpkin pie you will ever eat. My daughter gave me the recipe. Not sure who it comes from initially, but it is worth trying.

  22. My favorite Thanksgiving dessert is the traditional pumpkin pie with whipped cream. I also love pecan pie but for Thanksgiving I always go with pumpkin pie. I usually am too stuffed from all the turkey and stuffing to eat it, but this year I’m going to save room for it (or at least I’m going to try to)!
