SAN DIEGO – Jan. 8, 2013 –Guests at Sweet Tomatoes and Souplantation restaurants can create their own fresh start this month by choosing from a selection of fresh, flavorful whole grain and vegetarian menu items. Spotlighting the wholesome, fresh ingredients Sweet Tomatoes and Souplantation are known for, several ‘Fresh Start’ choices are available throughout January to compliment the many healthy options the salad and soup specialists offer all year long.

‘Fresh Start’ items offered during January include: roasted vegetable tossed salad with feta & kalamata olives; turkey and whole wheat noodle soup; 100% whole wheat tomato spinach hot pasta; 100% whole wheat arugula citrus deli salad; whole grain fiesta couscous; vegetable bean & barley stew; fat-free cranberry orange muffins; and, banana crunch muffin tops.
In addition to the January specials, every day signatures at Sweet Tomatoes and Souplantation include made-from-scratch, big chunk chicken noodle soup, deep kettle house chili, low-fat buttermilk cornbread muffins and non-fat frozen yogurt.
